Let It Be is bringing the hits of the Beatles to Broadway in a new concert extravaganza at the St. James Theatre. The onstage celebration of the Fab Four recreates concerts at a few of the band’s most iconic venues, including the Cavern Club, The Ed Sullivan Show, Shea Stadium and more. Broadway.com resident artist Justin 'Squigs' Robertson experienced the Broadway rock concert, then sketched his own tribute to the show, featuring rotating cast members (from left) Graham Alexander, J.T. Curtis, Chris McBurney and Ryan Coath all dressed up in their “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” regalia. Check out Squigs’ portrait of the legendary band, then catch the lads from Liverpool on Broadway!
About the Artist: With a desire to celebrate the magic of live theater and those who create it, and with a deep reverence for such touchstones as the work of Al Hirschfeld and the wall at Sardi’s, Squigs is happy and grateful to be among those carrying on the traditions where theater and caricature meet. He was born and raised in Oregon, lived in Los Angeles for quite a long time and now calls New York City his home.
